An Outstanding Presentation of CCTV-2 Finance Channel's “Specialized, Innovative, Powerful Manufacturing Nation”: Feature Interview of PCK!

The CCTV Finance Channel has launched a large-scale multimedia campaign called "Specialized, Innovative, and Powerful Manufacturing Nation" to report on the "little giant" specialized and innovative enterprises in our province. The goal is to uncover the distinct features, highlights and achievements in the development of China's specialized and innovative enterprises, and showcase the great potential of small and medium-sized enterprises.

As an outstanding representative of the provincial "little giant" specialized and innovative enterprises, our company is participating in the CCTV filming. Group founder and chairman Mr. Chen Chang will talk about how PCK, a world famous brand, uses deep sea steel pipes over 3,500 meters under the deep sea to support offshore energy transmission.

The "Specialized, Innovative and Powerful Manufacturing" program featuring PCK was broadcast on CCTV-2 China Central Television Finance Channel at 9:20pm on December 20th, 2023. In the interview, the ultra-strong impact resistance experiment conducted with a large drop hammer perfectly demonstrated PCK's superior techniques in steel pipe strength and toughness, chemical composition design, metallurgical process, rolling process and heat treatment process for deep sea applications.

Based on these techniques, the company has successfully developed 3,500 meter deep sea pipeline steel pipe samples that meet the technical requirements for pressure resistance, fatigue resistance and high deformation resistance. The data and experiments presented compelling evidence of this outstanding capability to the audience. Currently, this technology is at an industry-leading global level!

During the interview, Chairman Chen Chang explained that the reason for applying steel pipes in the ultra-low temperature near zero degree environment and the ultra-high pressure equivalent to 350 times atmospheric pressure at sea level is not only to safeguard the national energy security lifeline of offshore oil and gas pipelines, but more importantly to fully prepare for the future deep sea resource development of core energies such as natural gas and flammable ice. At the same time, it carries tremendous strategic significance for the country and for enterprises.
