Monthly throughput of the PCK Zhuhai terminal exceeded 120,000 tons

In the first quarter of 2022, the PCK Zhuhai terminal's monthly throughput exceeded 120,000 tons and the total throughput reached 190,000 tons, far surpassing the designed capacity of 50,000 tons per month. Compared to the same period in 2021, the terminal's external business increased by 82%. Loading out of the port increased by 7% to 48,000 tons, while inbound unloading increased by 20% to 142,000 tons.

In March, the terminal's total throughput reached a record high of 123,000 tons. This includes 8,000 tons from berth 1 and 115,000 tons from berth 2. The latter includes general cargo such as steel plate, steel coils, steel pipe, rebar, cement weight pipe, tonnage bags, totaling 100,000 tons, and 15,000 tons of bulk cargo such as earth and stone.

Currently, the domestic epidemic is recurring, and it is accompanied by weather factors such as fog season and heavy rainfall. Under the correct leadership of PCK Zhuhai, the terminal company at the PCK Zhuhai base has defied the difficulties and courageously created a good record.   In terms of its own development history, the monthly throughput has exceeded 100,000 tons for the first time, which marks another important milestone in the development history of the terminal company.
