PCK is assisting in the construction of the Huangmaohai Cross-sea Corridor

Currently, the preliminary trestle construction for the Huangmao Sea Crossing is underway. PCK Zhuhai has successfully fulfilled an order for 20,000 tons of steel piles by leveraging its advantages of close transportation distance, high-quality steel pipes, and efficient production. PCK Zhuhai has been consistently supplying steel piles for the construction of the bridge, supporting the building of the cross-sea bridge with practical actions.

The Huangmao Sea Cross-sea Channel project begins at Zhuhai Gaolan Harbor District, to the east of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and ends at Dushan Town, Taishan City, Jiangmen City. The project route is 30 kilometers long, with the cross-sea section spanning about 14.35 kilometers. The total investment for the project is approximately 12.5 billion yuan. The project aims to construct a sea bridge across the Huangmao sea waters, with a total length of 14090m, including approach bridges. The bridge width ranges from 33.5m to 50.5m. Two navigational holes are set up on the bridge, one for the Gaolan Harbor Bridge with a main span of 700m as a cable-stayed bridge, and the other for the Huangmao Sea Bridge with two main spans of 720m each. Upon completion, the Huangmao Sea Crossing project will feature the world's largest three-tower cable-stayed highway bridge, spanning 2x720m. 

The Huangmaohai Cross-sea Corridor

The Huangmao Sea Crossing project is a significant infrastructure undertaking in Guangdong Province. The project commenced in June of this year, and PCK Zhuhai has signed a contract to supply steel pipe piles for trestle bridges. The piles have a diameter of φ820/1020mm and a length of 30-50m, totaling approximately 20,000 tons. During the pre-construction period of the project, PCK Zhuhai made ample preparations. They began by mastering the technical requirements of steel pipe pile production and following up on the progress of the pipes used in the construction site. They also organized and adjusted the production plan in a timely manner. This approach ensures that the quality and quantity of the materials meet the construction needs while avoiding backlogs on the site and controlling turnover costs.

So far, PCK Zhuhai has supplied approximately 10,000 tons of steel pipes, and subsequent production and delivery are proceeding smoothly. PCK Zhuhai is committed to continuing its support for the construction of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Bridge.

Manufacutring the piling pipes for the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage

Completion of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage will alter the current state of a single channel between the western Guangdong coastal area and the core Bay Area, enabling economic development in the western part of Guangdong and the coastal area to radiate throughout the Greater Bay Area. The goal is to strengthen and promote the linked development of Zhuhai Hengqin Free Trade Area, Gaolan Port, and Jiangmen Daguanghai Bay Economic Zone. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Shenzhen-Central Corridor, Nansha Bridge, and Humen Bridge will form a group of cross-sea and cross-river corridors of the Greater Bay Area, accelerating the formation of a world-class transportation hub. It will create a network of cross-sea and cross-river corridors in the Greater Bay Area, in conjunction with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Shenzhen-Central Corridor, the Nansha Bridge, and the Humen Bridge. This will accelerate the development of a world-class transportation hub and establish a new pattern of regional development known as 'one nucleus, one belt, and one region', resulting in a more balanced growth of the Greater Bay Area.
