Qingdao Yellow River - East Water Transportation Project

Qingdao Yellow Water East Transfer Project involves Pingdu City, Jiaozhou City, Jimo District, with a total investment of 3.926 billion yuan, the total length of the main line of 62.3 kilometers, of which the Pingdu section of the project investment of 1.82 billion yuan, the main content of the new construction is a new pumping station, from the Mingcun Town, Mingdao City, Fu Lizhuang Village, north of the village, through the town of Mingcun Town, Cuijiajizhen, Polygonal Town, the town of Nancun, laying the diameter of the 3-meter steel pipe to the proposed Jiaozhou Guanlu Reservoir, to take on the Yellow water eastward transfer of passenger water. After the project is put into operation, it can transfer 189 million cubic meters of passenger water to Qingdao city, Jiaozhou city and Pingdu city every year, of which 17 million cubic meters can be supplied to Pingdu city, effectively alleviating the water resources tension in Pingdu city, enhancing the integrated scheduling and optimal allocation of water resources in Pingdu city, and providing solid water security for promoting the city's economic and social development with high quality.
