Cap Lopez Export Lines Project in Gabon

In December 2022, London-based oil and gas firm Perenco received technical approval from the Gabonese authorities for the construction of an LNG export terminal at Cap Lopez, Gabon.
In February 2023, Perenco announced a final investment decision (FID) on the project. The facility will have a capacity of 0.7 mtpa LNG and 0.2 mtpa liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The project will expand on the existing Cap Lopez Oil Export Terminal operated by Perenco. Construction is expected to take 3 years, with the project coming online in 2026.
