Full Network Spotlight! PCK has broken several world records with the successful towing back of the sea-to-sea directional drilling for the Huangze Mountain-Yushan crude oil pipeline project.

On July 5, 2022, at 17:56, the directional drilling of the Huangze Mountain-Yushan crude oil pipeline project was successfully completed in the sea area of Zhejiang Zhoushan Daiquyang. The pipeline, which is 1,467 meters long and managed by our company, was towed back. The People's Daily Online, CCTV, and Zhejiang Satellite Television, among other major media outlets, covered the achievement. Reportedly, this is the first time in China that crude oil pipeline sea-to-sea directional drilling technology has been used, setting a new record for the world's longest, largest diameter, and deepest water level crude oil pipeline sea-to-sea directional drilling. As a national key engineering project, the completed project is expected to produce 20-30 million tons of oil per year. This will enhance the resource allocation capacity of the oil industry chain in China (Zhejiang) FTZ and drive crude oil trade in the FTZ.

In August 2021, our company entered into a procurement cooperation agreement with the Huangze Mountain-Yushan crude oil submarine pipeline project. Our company produced the entire line of LSAW steel pipes. Currently, the construction of the Huangze Mountain-Yushan crude oil pipeline project is underway. We have fully delivered the total contract amount of approximately 23,000 tons of steel pipes.

In early June 2022, during a critical period for sea-to-sea directional drilling back hauling, the owner urgently contacted our company for assistance. They reported high magnetism in the steel pipes piled up in Huayuan Xiushan Yard, which could directly impact the success or failure of the operation. After receiving the news, our company promptly checked the previous inspection records and tested the steel pipes to be shipped from the company's yard. No abnormal residual magnetism was found. To assist the customer in implementing the project smoothly, our team worked overnight to investigate the site. We discovered that the excessive magnetism was caused by the steel pipe stacking site being located under high-voltage power lines, creating a strong magnetic field that resulted in residual magnetism in the steel pipes. After discovering the cause, our team worked tirelessly and resolved the issue in just three days using our company's professional demagnetization equipment. Our efficient and skilled team established a strong foundation for the success of this sea-to-sea directional drilling towing. The owner praised our active cooperation and exquisite skills, which showcased the reputation and strength of the PCK brand. 

Currently, the Huangze Mountain-Fish Mountain crude oil pipeline project is nearing completion, with only one kilometer of pipeline construction remaining on land.
