PCK Zhuhai authorized to establish the Guangdong Province Special Equipment Welder Examination Center and has successfully conducted the first round of examinations

With the strong support of the company's leadership, the Welder Examination Center of Panyu Chu Kong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. passed the qualification audit of the Guangdong Province Market Supervision Administration on July 13th, 2021. As a result, it was included in Guangdong Province's Special Equipment Operators Examination Institution. This achievement was the result of careful planning and orderly organization. 

The first phase of the Guangdong Province special equipment operators (welders) certification examination, organized by Panyu Chu Kong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., was successfully held on August 31, 2021. The examination was conducted for the company's employees. A total of 24 individuals participated in the theoretical examination, and 27 in the welding practical examination. The purpose of the examination was to enhance the employees' theoretical foundation and operational skills, thereby increasing their self-worth and contributing to the company's sustainable development. 

 To ensure a smooth first phase of the examination, the examination center developed a detailed plan. The examination room was equipped with a monitoring system that met strict requirements. The instructor provided theoretical training and arranged for a theoretical simulation examination. Practical teachers were responsible for equipment debugging and on-site explanations. This approach ensured that candidates were proficient in submerged-arc automatic welding, manual gas-protection welding, gas-protection welding, and other welding technologies, and effectively improved the examination pass rate. 

     On the day of the examination, the invigilator arranged for the candidates to line up to verify their information and take pictures. The candidates then entered the theoretical examination room in an orderly manner. Out of the total number of candidates, 22 passed the examination, resulting in a pass rate of 92%.

     The practical test site had a total of 10 examination stations, and the process technology department oversaw the 27 welding test projects. The examination was conducted in strict accordance with the regulations. Two candidates failed the practical test, demonstrating the professionalism and rigor of the examination body. 

After a day of intense preparation, the welding examination was successfully completed. Lai Jianfeng, the Director of the Examination Center, stated that conducting the welding examination not only enhances the technical proficiency of the staff but also fulfills the manufacturing requirements for staff qualifications. In the future, Panyu Chu Kong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. will continue to organize welder exams at their special equipment welder test center. The reference personnel will no longer be limited to the company's internal staff, and external enrollment will be increased to meet the demands of more companies and individuals. This will provide an opportunity for individuals to improve their skills and enhance their communication platform. The aim is to further regulate the industry personnel with a license, reflecting the role of the special operating personnel assessment institutions and their significance.
