The first batch of steel pipes manufactured by PCK for Nigeria project was successfully shipped

On October 23, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., the first batch of LSAW steel pipes manufactured by PCK Zhuhai Pipe for the gas pipeline project of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (referred to as the AKK Project) were successfully delivered at the PCK Zhuhai International Container Terminal (Gaolan). The sky was clear, and the machinery was roaring.  

The successful delivery of the first batch of LSAW steel pipes demonstrates PCK Zhuhai's commitment to hard work, unity, and dedication. They completed the production task of this order safely and with high quality. 

The AKK project is a crucial undertaking for the construction of oil and gas facilities in Nigeria in the near future. The AKK project pipeline will traverse railroads, highways, swamps, densely populated areas, and the Niger River, the largest inland river in Nigeria, which has a complex and variable terrain. Therefore, the pipeline must meet high technical requirements.

PCK will produce approximately 140,000 tons of steel pipes for the AKK project in Nigeria. During the pre-production period, the company closely communicated and cooperated with upstream and downstream related enterprises. Throughout the production process, all departments and teams of the company worked diligently to meet the requirements of the process schedule, ensuring that the construction was carried out in accordance with the law, with a focus on safety and civility. As a result, the company produced a high-quality first batch of steel pipes to be delivered to the owner.
