PCK Zhuhai Successfully Delivered Offshore Drilling Bulkheads

Panyu Chu Kong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. has successfully delivered the domestic offshore drilling water separator project. This project will promote our company's participation in the localization of offshore oil equipment and provide strong support for the production and manufacturing of offshore oil equipment infrastructure in China. 

Due to the depletion of land-based oil resources, offshore oil resources have become a key focus for the future development of the petroleum industry. Foreign deepwater drilling technology has rapidly advanced, while watertight pipe manufacturing technology remains monopolized by a few foreign countries. The offshore drilling water separator is a crucial piece of equipment for developing deepwater oil and gas fields. It isolates oil wells from seawater, creates a circulating channel for drilling fluids, provides a channel for lowering the drill pipe to the seabed wellhead, and supports the installation of underwater blowout preventers and various pipelines. The marine drilling water separator must meet the high technical requirements of marine conditions ranging from -20 to 50 ℃. This equipment has high investment, risk, and difficulty. As China's offshore oil development moves towards deeper waters, the development of drilling technology and equipment will encounter increasingly challenging problems.

The offshore bulkhead's main pipe is primarily composed of seamless steel and LSAW pipes. LSAW pipes are commonly used in drilling projects due to their low cost and high productivity. This order utilizes the JCOE molding process to meet the customer's technical requirements. However, this order has higher physical and chemical performance requirements, more non-destructive items, and stricter appearance quality compared to conventional steel pipes. 

To meet the customer's technical requirements and achieve optimal performance, the project team must strictly control the manufacturing process to maximize the material's potential and ensure reliability. Despite facing difficulties, PCK Zhuhai fearlessly tackles challenges. From the moment the order was received, the functional departments worked closely together, fighting bravely. They actively prepared for material procurement, process, and production, ultimately successfully delivering the order.
