Panyu Chu Kong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. successfully delivered extra-long steel pipe piles (98.086 meters) and a steel frame platform for an offshore wind farm project in China. This delivery provided a valuable opportunity for the owner's offshore construction and enabled the project team to smoothly carry out the piling and steel frame platform installation for the wind tower.

The offshore wind farm project site covers an area of 81.03k square meters, with a wind turbine peripheral envelope sea area of about 68.93k square meters. The water depth ranges from 41 to 46 meters, and the planned installed capacity is 500MW. To meet the construction timeline requirements, the project requires steel pipe piles and steel frame platforms with a short construction cycle. The drawings have been upgraded to address issues such as shipment restrictions. PCK Zhuhai Company will manufacture these components, which will undergo rigorous testing. The production of Zhuhai Company has been severely tested. Despite the difficulties, PCK Zhuhai was not afraid of the challenges. All functional departments cooperated closely and worked diligently to complete the procurement of raw materials, manufacturing, and delivery of steel pipe piles and steel frame platforms within 45 days of signing the contract. The successful completion of this project showcases PCK Zhuhai's flexibility and adaptability. Particularly noteworthy is the technical department's comprehension of the design intent and their ability to integrate relevant resources. This project will provide robust support for PCK's development in the field of manufacturing infrastructure for offshore wind power projects.

The initial stage of offshore wind energy development involves accurately understanding the changing wind patterns and characteristics in the selected areas. The most effective way to obtain comprehensive offshore wind resource data is by installing an offshore wind tower. As a result, the offshore wind tower serves as the primary safeguard for offshore wind farms.

Currently, China's offshore wind power industry has taken shape due to the country's efforts to expand the use of clean energy and implement a marine strategy. In recent years, 35 wind farms with a total installed capacity of nearly 10,000MW have been approved for construction or completion in China, with an expected investment of over 100 billion yuan. The offshore wind power industry is poised to boost China's manufacturing industry, providing greater vitality and vigor. This will also benefit the related manufacturing industry.
