PCK Zhuhai Wins 2018 Contribution Award for Science and Technology Innovation

At the recent Zhuhai Economic and Technological Development Zone's real economy development work conference, PCK Zhuhai was awarded the '2018 Annual Science and Technology Innovation Contribution Award'. The Administrative Committee of Zhuhai Economic and Technological Development Zone awarded us the title of 'High and New Technology Enterprise' in recognition of our outstanding contribution to science and technology innovation. We will use this award as an opportunity to become a model of innovation for enterprises in the Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao Greater Bay Area.

PCK Zhuhai aligns with the national innovation-driven development strategy and advocates the motto of 'market-driven technical problem identification and solution'. So far, PCK Zhuhai has been recognized as a pilot enterprise of innovation in Guangdong Province and has passed several innovation platforms, including the Guangdong Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base and the Guangdong Offshore Engineering Pipe and Equipment Technology Research Center. The Guangdong Province has an equipment engineering technology research center and a provincial enterprise technology center. They have undertaken 12 major scientific and technological projects above the provincial level. The provincial Economic and Information Commission is in charge of the first major technical equipment, 'deep-sea oil and gas pipeline transmission steel pipe,' and has promoted the application of nine provincial projects. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is responsible for overseeing Green Manufacturing. There are three national projects, including the construction of a Green Supply Chain System and Typical Offshore Equipment. Additionally, there are 10 invention patents, 29 utility model patents, and two national standards. The organization has also achieved 31 scientific research milestones. In 2018, sales revenue from high-tech products accounted for 72% of the total sales.

In the future, PCK Zhuhai will continue to prioritize scientific and technological innovation, integrate into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area synergistic development strategy, enhance the image and influence of the 'PCK' brand, and leverage the brand economy to optimize and upgrade industries. And its driving role in transforming innovative results, we must vigorously improve the manufacturing of steel pipe products and supporting services capacity and level. This will enable us to meet the requirements of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as the needs of the industry and the market. PCK will enhance its manufacturing capacity and improve the quality of its steel pipe products and supporting services to meet the demand for large-scale projects such as deep-sea energy development, bridge construction, and water conservancy in the Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao Greater Bay Area.
