PCK Provides Water Pipes for Zhuhai Water "West-to-East Water Transfer" Project

PCK provided 13,590 tons of water transmission pipes for Zhuhai Water Group's 'West-to-East Water Transfer' Phase II Project (Pinggang-Guangchang Raw Water Supply Guarantee Project). The project is a key priority for the Zhuhai Municipal Government this year and an important infrastructure project for the sustainable development of the city. It is included in the 'Guangdong-Macao Cooperation Framework Agreement.' Once completed, the project will transfer one million cubic meters of salty water from the west to the east daily, ensuring adequate water supply for Zhuhai and Macao during periods of saltwater shortage.

The construction of the project has recently made significant progress in the most technically difficult section. PCK Zhuhai's high-quality water pipeline products played a key role in this progress. The pipe diameter of the pipe jacking project over the Mordoche Gate waterway is 2.4 meters, and the length of the one-time pipe jacking reaches 2,329 meters. This puts a very high demand on the construction technology and is the most critical controlling node of the entire West-to-East Water Transfer II Project.   The extra-long pipe jacking project, known as 'Asia's first top', has officially passed through the waterway of Mordor Gate. PCK's products have demonstrated excellent performance.

PCK Zhuhai's major strategy in recent years has been to optimize product structure and focus on technology-oriented layout of the large infrastructure steel pipe demand market. The products are used in land and submarine oil, natural gas, urban pipeline networks, and various pipeline transportation projects. They are also used in large infrastructure projects such as construction steel structures, bridge engineering, and new energy fields in the offshore industry. This allows us to meet the diverse demands of domestic and foreign markets for various types of steel pipe products.
