PCK Steel Pipe Group received over 150,000 tons of new steel pipe orders in July-August 2018. Together with the orders received in the first half of 2018, the total new steel pipe orders up to August 2018 exceeded 340,000 tons, which is close to the normal year level.

The latest orders consist of a request from China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) for around 28,000 tons of steel pipes to be used in their gas and oil pipeline projects in China. These projects include the Zhanjiang-Lianjiang, Beihai-Shankou oil products pipeline, the Zhanjiang-Liangjiang, Beihai-Shankou refined oil products pipelines, and the Ordos-Anping-Cangzhou gas pipeline project. The Group will supply around 66,000 tons of spiral submerged arc welded steel pipes for the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor bridge in the PRC. The delivery is expected to take place between 2018 and 2019.

Mr. Chan Chang, the Group's Chairman, stated, 'We are delighted to have secured the new project order from Sinopec.' Upon completion, the "E An Cang" gas pipeline project will be the first high-pressure, large-diameter gas supply pipeline in Xiong'an New Area. The project has a total length of 2,293 kilometers and a total investment of RMB34.4 billion. The Zhanjiang-Lianjiang and Beihai-Shankou refined oil products pipeline construction project has a total length of 170 km and a total investment of about 1.2 billion yuan. It has been included in Guangdong Province's '13th Five-Year Plan' for energy infrastructure and provincial key engineering construction projects. The 'Rizhao Port - Jingbo' pipeline spans 428 kilometers and is intended to support the Luzhong Refining and Chemical Industry Base as well as the North Lu Refining and Chemical Industry Cluster.

Chairman Chan added that the Group's Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor project, which involves providing steel pipes with a diameter of 3.3 meters, a length of 35 meters, and a weight of 64 tons, is one of the major infrastructure projects approved by the State Council of the PRC. We anticipate that the aforementioned large-scale natural gas and oil pipeline projects, as well as infrastructure projects, will continue to increase. The Group stands to benefit from the significant business opportunities that they will bring.
